Institute for Consumer Informatics
The Institute for Consumer Informatics (IVI) supports teaching and research at H-BRS on topics of digital consumption. In the project, the research group collects and evaluates user requirements for the development of a speech-based assistance system for visually impaired people. The H-BRS follows an iterative approach to involve users as early as possible in the design and development process and consequently to enable and design a speech-based dialog between users and digital assistants during product selection.
